A Marine Engine Driver Grade 3 is an entry level certificate and performs various operational and maintenance roles in engine rooms on all sorts of vessels; you can then motor around the many waterways and keep your mechanical passion alive.
Coxswain Fire Safety and Engineering, included
To provide maximum time and cost benefits to the students SEA SCHOOL has developed an integrated Coxswain and MED 3 qualification course. This means that all participants who successfully complete the 6 days of engineering training, has at the same time, completed half the Coxswain course, saving you $1320. To achieve 2 courses, 2 qualifications, enrol in the Certificate II TDM20307 Coxswain Seamanship Week 2, 5 days and MROCP (Marine Radio), 1 day.
Words of advice for Master Class 5
If you continue your training to become a Master Class 5, the Marine Engine Driver Grade 3 qualification (to operate vessel engines and deck machinery of greater than 75Kw) is considered fundamental to your employability.
