What to Bring

Identification: 100 points required.
Preferred: Drivers Licence, or
birth certificate, current passport, Medicare card, or pension card
Young Adult: Preferred: Birth certificate. If not available you must bring 2 forms of identification such as a current passport and Medicare card. A student card is considered a secondary identification. The parent/guardian must provide their identification and signatures to a training officer and sign the NSW Maritime application before the course commences.
Eye-sight test: Not required if you have an Australian drivers licence;
or provide an eye-sight test from an independent optometrist;
or complete the eye-sight test whilst in a NSW Maritime office (make sure you are pro-active and ask for the test, or your new licence will be cancelled); this also applies to Young Adults.
PWC Jet-ski: 2 passport pictures (not required for Boat Licence candidates)


Bring Practical: Bottled water, snacks/food for practical boating experience
Clothing: Casual clothes, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and bring your wet weather gear in case it rains.
Footwear: Deck shoes, joggers, sandshoes or work boots (No thongs or sandals)
Break: Ask the Trainer about local food and beverage options or BYO.
